Bio

My name is Tony Rogers. I am 40 yrs old with brown hair and hazel eyes. I am 6'4" tall and
approximately 210 lbs. I am a full time truck driver looking to change the course of my career.
I am an actor/model on a part time schedule right now, but I am pursuing the possibility of
making it my full time career.

I live in Sanford, the Heart (center) of North Carolina, so the Eastern and Western parts of
the state are almost equal distances from me.
Also, I have been told I have a very strong Regional (Southern) accent.

I love watching action, sci-fi , horror, and comedy movies. My favorite authors are Stephen King
and Dean Koontz. I love the beach and waking up in the morning to the ocean air.
One day I would love to own my own house on the beach.
It is also my dream to visit Australia one day.

I have been married for 19 years and have 2 wonderful children (a 18 yr old son & a 12 yr daughter).
My family has been my biggest support through out my journey with acting and modeling.
If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have come this far.

I would like to extend my Thanks to all my friends and family, for their support.
I have made many new friends along the way and some of which
have become some of my best friends.
I want to extend my Thanks to those who have given me a chance to show my acting abilities,
who have had faith in me, and have given me the opportunity to get this far in my career.

In 1998, I went to my first open call with Manhattan Model Search. I was selected to participate in
their regional convention in Durham, NC and got the chance to meet with agencies from all over
the country. I also went to several other open calls from different agencies and talent scouts.
I was selected to participate in another regional convention in Washington, DC with Model Search
America in 1999. A couple of months later I got a call from Millennium Model Management
in the DC area. I went for an interview with them and walked away with my first agent.
They helped mold me. They got me started with my training for modeling and acting. They set me
up with my first Photographer , Panos Trivoulides, also of the DC area. They helped me get my portfolio,
resume, and career started.
After several months with them, I had little odd jobs that you really would not count for modeling or acting.
I finally got my first chance for an audition with an independent filmmaker (Augusto Domingo w/Sideshow
Productions) in Virginia Beach, Va in early spring of 2002 . I have performed in 4 films with him. And
since then, I have performed in 4 other films, and have been cast for other independent projects to be
filmed in the near future.
Early in the year of 2003, I was taken on by Carolina Talent, in Charlotte, NC.
They are helping me find local work now.
I am continuously striving to further my career in acting. Hopefully, you will see me on the big screen
one day. I am hoping to make it there.
